Winchester School Te Kura o Te Haonui is a contributing primary school that has 16 classrooms and a roll of approximately 360. We are located near the Manawatū River on Ruahine Street in Hokowhitu, Palmerston North.
The name Te Haonui literally means "the great catch" and likens the school to a large fishing net capturing all the diverse cultures of the tamariki and whānau who connect with our school.
We have an enrolment zone, so if you want to join our school community and you live outside of our zone, you will need to apply for an out of zone space. For details of our enrolment zone please click here.
